By installing the optional wireless connection module the unit can then be connected wirelessly to other WisuAlarm wireless-enabled devices while still being connected by cable to non-wireless devices (Hybrid system)

As a bonus, the wireless module, when linked with the Internet Gateway allows anyone with the free App enabled, to be kept informed of any activations from the detector while also being able to check the detector status for faults, remaining battery life etc.

The mains-powered heat alarm responds quickly to rises in temperature while giving a stable performance and low false alarms. Once the ambient temperature reaches 54° to 65°C the unit will go into alarm continuously sounding the built-in 85db sounder until reset.

Unique to the WisuAlarm range of products is the ability to silence the alarm by pressing the in-built silence button or by pointing any infra-red remote controller at the unit.
