Overview

DoorSense is a smart, wire-free solution for safely holding open fire doors, making it easier for people to move around your building without compromising fire safety.

In the event of a fire alarm, DoorSense automatically releases, allowing the door to close and help contain fire and smoke. Quick and easy to install, it requires no wiring or additional fitting costs and is designed to retrofit existing doors with minimal disruption.

Tested beyond industry standards with over 50,000 sound activations, DoorSense is CE marked to EN 1155, EMC tested, and fire rated for timber doors (FD120). It legally permits fire doors to be held open, offering peace of mind and enhanced accessibility.

Please note: DoorSense must be used with a suitable door closer. We recommend pairing it with a professionally installed fire alarm system for optimal performance.
