Aerosols should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated space, free from freezing risk and where the temperature cannot exceed 40 °C
Keep aerosols out of the sun and store in a cool dry place away from heat or extreme cold. The pressure inside the cylinder can increase greatly in heat and may cause it to burst
Do not put aerosols on a bonfire, even when they are empty, because they will explode and may cause injury
Do not pierce aerosols, even when they are empty, because there is always some pressure, and possibly some of the product left
You should never keep aerosols inside the cabin of a car or where occupants are directly present because even in winter temperatures can rise quickly. They should be kept in the boot or in a contained storage area
