Rutland Responder 24 Electromagnetic Fire Door Closer

The Responder 24 electromagnetic fire door closer features an innovative electromagnetic system that holds fire doors open while ensuring they release immediately upon fire alarm activation.

Designed to eliminate the issues commonly associated with traditional hydraulic door closers, this unit offers a universal fitting solution. It can be installed as either left- or right-handed, providing flexibility for various door configurations.

Additionally, the Responder 24 is equipped with an easily replaceable power loop, making maintenance straightforward.

This closer is CE marked and has been tested to EN1634 for 60 minutes, ensuring high performance and reliability. With a maximum door weight of 80kg, an opening angle of 180°, and a maximum door width of 1050mm, it accommodates a wide range of fire door specifications.

The Responder 24 also features an adjustable latch speed and includes a rut lock for added security. Compact in design, it measures 307mm in length, 67mm in height, and 95mm in depth.

Operating at 24VDC with an amp draw of 84mA and power consumption of 2W, this closer is a dependable and efficient solution for fire door control.
