FireSmart Mini Automatic Fire Extinguisher | Adaptive System
INC VAT
Code: FDS401/588
The Mini is a state-of-the-art microenvironment suppression system and one of the smallest suppression modules available. Designed to protect compact, enclosed spaces vulnerable to fire, the Mini activates automatically through thermal actuation when the temperature exceeds a pre-set limit, extinguishing fires efficiently.
For even smaller microenvironments that cannot accommodate the Mini directly, the Mini–Adaptive System provides an ingenious solution. In this setup, the Mini container is installed outside, with its heat-sensitive glass bulb placed inside the micro-environment, ensuring reliable protection in the tightest of spaces.
This is an adaptive system, meaning the extinguisher is placed outside the fire risk area but the barrel is placed inside the fire risk area. With the barrel placed inside the micro-environment, such as a fuse box or electrical cabinet, the heat sensitive bulb is close to high-risk ignition points. This means fires are tackled quickly and at the source of the fire, meaning damage is reduced and fires are tackled in rapid time. It is perfectly suited to any environment that is simply too small to accommodate other firefighting systems and are hard to reach.
This palm-sized extinguisher is powered by Fluoroketone, a cold gas that absorbs heat from the fire. This means that it leaves no residue behind, making it the perfect choice for sensitive and valuable electrical equipment. It can tackle Class A, B, C, and Electrically started fires.
This extinguisher comes with a BSI Verification certificate for peace of mind that it is intrinsically safe. It is tested and certified to have twice the potency of CO2 per Kg reducing space and increasing efficiency when you need it most. This extinguisher also delivers no static or thermal shock and leaves no residue, meaning it won't damage electrical equipment when dispersed.
